This is the very best of battery technology: 20s5p Ah battery containing 1oo Samsung 30Q 3000mAh 18650 cells, 60A BMS (battery management system) with 3AH UK charger. 60 Amp Nomina BMS. Designed to fit within the triangle using a choice of 9 Velcro fastening points.
These type of cells used in high amp discharge installation where the combination of 15A per cell maximum discharges yet a storage capacity of 3000 mAh. They are specially designed for high output discharge. Other inferior cells used in cheaper packs simply cant deliver like these in this scenario. These batteries are particularly good for: large rear hub systems of 3000watts, Cyclone mid drive and BBSHD Phase runner conversions, MXUS hubs. You will love this kit. I road 15 miles yesterday all over 30 mph, cruising around 32-35 mph using power level 2 and hitting power 3 (highest) to go 40+ mph. Using power (Assist) three like a Turbo button. Spinning the cranks a couple of turns with my legs from standstill and then on the throttle in assist level 2 and flicking up to 3 around 20 mph. You can feel the big push come in from the extra watts. I’m taking it easy on the bike until I know how much the nylon gear can take with these power levels. I know lighter riders can get away with a lot more than my heavy 280lbs.There’s no need to change gear, you just leave it one of the big rear cogs. I’ll tell you which I use when I count it. I did destroy my first one going to small. You have to think different with this kit, forget gear changes all they do is eventually break cogs and chains and a waste of effort (yes gear sensor still works). 72v has a much wider power band. One of the big cogs you normally use to get up the hill will still throw you up the road at silly speeds. On the Luda there’s a hill that slow me down to 26mph (on a 30A 22mph). On the BAC I flew up it at 32mph without using WOT! but using the big cog takes the power and force away from the nylon gear. Think of the force your legs needs to push the bike forward in a small gear and how much easier it is in the rear big cog! Obviously there is a sweet spot between how much the nylon gear will take and how fast you can go. It’s different for nearly every bike and every rider as we all have different tyres, weight and surfaces. Keep the force off the front cog and into the hub. The kit is amazing. The ultimate BBSHD BY FAR!”
70A (restricted by the BMS) and bursts much higher.
If you think the cost is high, these batteries have 100 cells that retail in the UK for around £6.50 each! not including a BMS, casing , charger, shipping taxes AND FABRICATION.
These are factory made using the very latest in spot welding and nickel strip.
Please ALSO note, these are genuine cells and made up into complete battery specially to order for me at the factory. We can’t simply buy a single battery; I have to agree to a production run of at least 20 batteries.
The cases are extremely tough and weather resistant to a high degree. They are designed to take a medium impact.
